I painted this just after I returned. Drawing from the recent memories of having spent 5 days out in the desert of the Larapinta trail. On the last day we sat on top of a mountain looking down at a pound. We sat in silence, listening to the land and our surrounds.

We wish to acknowledge and pay respect to the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the Central and Western Arrernte Country, who have provided us the opportunity to explore the ancient landscape of the West MacDonnell Ranges.
